About Zazen Copenhagen
What does Zazen mean?
mission
I create safe, grounded spaces where we can speak honestly about life's transitions – especially one that many women find themselves navigating alone: menopause.
Through talks, astrology, mindful movement and 1:1 sessions, I help you connect more deeply with yourself and find meaning in whatever you are moving through.
My mission is to make the invisible transitions visible – and to support you in feeling stronger, calmer and more connected to yourself.
vision
I dream of a world where menopause is not associated with loss, silence or shame – but with knowledge, self-respect and new beginnings.
My vision is to create space for honest conversations, both in our personal lives and in the workplace, and to give women tools to feel more at home in their bodies and minds.
Through education, astrology and mindful movement, I work towards a culture where we understand transitions as a natural part of life – not as an exception to it.
The values of Zazen Copenhagen
Respect
Respect is a cornerstone of Zazen Copenhagen. Respect for your story, your pace and your unique journey. Whether we meet for an astrology session, a talk or on the yoga mat, I meet you where you are – with respect for your experience and with an awareness of what may gently support you moving forward.
Caring
Care and loving presence are at the heart of everything I offer. This applies when we talk about vulnerable subjects such as menopause or life crises, as well as in the intimate space of mindfulness and meditation. You are not met with solutions imposed from the outside. Instead, I create space for you to find support and answers within yourself – with a caring hand along the way.
Grounded
Zazen is a place where the stars meet the ground. Astrology, the body, emotions and life transitions are made tangible, so you can navigate life with clarity and both feet firmly on the ground. I create a safe and present space where insight becomes useful – and where you can simply be all of you.
Meet Zandra
My name is Zandra, and I work with life's transitions – especially the invisible ones that often remain unspoken. I give talks about early menopause and offer 1:1 sessions where astrology, conversation and presence come together.
For the past decade, I have immersed myself in meditation, mindfulness and spiritual practice. I am a trained meditation teacher and have worked professionally with mental wellbeing in the corporate world, guiding people towards greater calm, clarity and presence in often high-performance environments. Meditation and mindfulness are not simply tools for me – they are ways of being in life.
My approach is grounded and intuitive. I create safe spaces where you can reconnect with yourself and find strength – whether we meet in a session, a conversation or a talk. Yoga, astrology and energy work are natural parts of my practice, but what matters most is always the person sitting in front of me.
My work comes from a desire to offer insight and support in a way that feels human, grounded and respectful.
Thank you for visiting my universe.
Namaste Zandra

Menopause is a natural stage of life in which the body's production of hormones, particularly oestrogen, gradually decreases. It typically occurs between the ages of 45 and 55 and marks the end of the reproductive years.
But some women experience it much earlier.
Early menopause – Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI)occurs when the ovaries stop functioning before the age of 40.
Symptoms can be both physical and emotional, including:
Hot flushes and night sweats
Irregular or absent periods
Sleep problems and exhaustion
Difficulty concentrating and memory issues
Anxiety, low mood or a sense of losing one's identity
For many women, particularly younger women, this is not simply a hormonal change but an existential transition. Fertility, identity and a sense of direction can suddenly feel uncertain.
That is why it matters that we talk openly about menopause – including early menopause – and create a more informed and compassionate space for those going through it.
Menopause is a natural stage of life, but symptoms such as hot flushes, fatigue, memory difficulties and changes in mood can affect working life. An open and supportive workplace can help: Support employee wellbeing, Reduce absence and retain valuable employees, Strengthen motivation and engagement, Create a more inclusive and understanding workplace
My talk is rooted in my own story.
At 33, I woke up drenched in sweat. Shortly afterwards came a surprising and life-changing diagnosis: I was experiencing early menopause.
The experience brought intense physical symptoms, but also questions around identity, the future, meaning and direction.
Through my talk, I want to create space for honest conversations about a life transition that is often surrounded by silence and shame – especially when it happens early.
I share the symptoms and emotional challenges I experienced, as well as the small steps that helped me find a new sense of calm and meaning through mindfulness, meditation and conscious presence.
The talk is both personal and professionally grounded, focusing on:
The talk is both personal and professionally grounded, focusing on:
How workplaces and society can support people going through life transitions
Hvor vigtigt det er at fjerne tabuet – også når det gælder yngre kvinder
How meditation and presence can support self-care and connection
My aim is to create space for reflection, recognition and practical ideas for how colleagues and leaders can talk openly about menopause and create support instead of silence.
